Hattingley Valley Wines required a new 1,860m2 temperature-controlled wine storage warehouse. The client engaged AWA for our experience in delivering practical civil engineering solutions for industrial and winery projects. The facility needed robust flooring and efficient drainage to allow continuous operations while supporting heavy storage requirements, ensuring reliability and long-term performance.
AWA provided the civil engineering design for the warehouse supplied by APECS Ltd, including industrial-grade floor slabs, drainage systems, and external hard standings. The floor slabs were designed to withstand the weight and frequent movement of heavy goods, while the drainage system ensured water management and operational safety. External hard standings and circulation areas were carefully planned to support heavy vehicle movements and seamless daily operations.
